BBC provides flexible monitoring services and provides security, fire alarm and cellular alarm monitoring. BBC uses ESC Central, and because of their superior customer service, they have played an important part of our monitoring team.
BBC promises to never lock your software. If you move, or for any other reason, decide to change services, any security company can follow up with installation and/or monitoring without any software roadblocks.
Though we hope you will use our monitoring services, BBC does not require you to do so in order to have installation.
Security Monitoring
Our company provides 4 different levels of security monitoring, and each is detailed below.
Standard
With standard monitoring, the system dials in only when there is an alarm or trouble with the system. We dispatch the police department in your area for security alarm, and your local fire department for smoke or heat detection. Even with standard monitoring we review signals in-house and provide feedback on the health of the system. This service includes a bi-weekly test to verify the system’s ability to call in if required to do so.
Daily Test
In addition to standard alarm and trouble reporting, this type of service dials in every day at a pre-programmed time. If our central station misses a signal, we contact you for service.
Openings and Closings
Along with standard alarm and trouble reporting, this service allows your system to call in each time the system is armed or disarmed. Used for businesses or residential, the central station provides a report to be emailed monthly showing all activity. The report is sorted by date, time, and user.
Supervised Openings and Closings
This is the highest level of security monitoring we offer. In addition to standard alarm and trouble reporting, the central station calls the premises and asks for a username and password each time an individual opens or disarms the system. If that user is disarming at an inappropriate time, the central station will notify you.
Fire Alarm Monitoring
Fire alarm monitoring is available for our business owners who are required to have 24-hour fire alarm dispatch on their fire alarm or fire sprinkler system. Our central station is UL/FM approved for fire alarm monitoring as per NFPA72.
Cellular Alarm Service
In the event that you want to keep your alarm company but remove dependence on a telephone line, BBC has a small interactive wireless device that will allow your alarm to think it is still connected to the phone line, but it is actually transmitting its signal over AT&T or Verizon cell towers.
Wireless service is billed monthly or annually with one year required for each configuration. If you have the wireless service with one of our DSC systems, you get a free app that allows you to arm and disarm the system from your smartphone, tablet, or computer.
Special Note: Telguard service uses the AT&T network for transmission and may not be available in all areas. Some transmitters require a valid credit or bank card for activation.
